SOLD

Once we MLS listed our house with a realtor, we had nine showings within the first week of its going on the market, with an offer made as well. We happily accepted, and closed on July 31st, within ONE month of accepting the offer, a mere one month and one week after listing it! Thank you Adonai!

Thank you to everyone for your interest.

And looking straight ahead you see a french door that leads into the front entrance-way vestibule, and the front door. To the left is the living room.

At 18'x 25', the living room is very spacious.

Front of the house and its huge front lawn.

Front entrance with gorgeous landscaping.

Front walkway and front door.

Mature hedges and a variety of bulbs and perennials surround the entire house, front and back, providing seasonal blooms and greenery all year long.

Here's a view of the half of the front lawn closest to the house.

Front view of the house from the front yard's fence line...

And then looking to your right, you can see the fence line that extends down to the end of our two acres. Notice however that the wooden fence only goes about halfway down the extent of our two acres, whereas the second acre extends further out, being bordered by the blackberry bushes growing up along the barbed wire fencing.

Here you can see the new shed, to the right of the garages.

And here's the nice dog pen that Chris built for our spoiled rotten German Shepherd, who's never slept a day outside in his four years and lives inside, but sometimes we put him out here when it's nice outside and we're gonna be gone all day, or we have company we don't want him slobbering and sitting all over. Anyways, it's a really heavy-duty, nice pen with rubber equestrian mats on the ground, for a sanitary covering that keeps him off the ground, so he cannot dig or get muddy. Nice shade too.

And stepping further back, you can see the new, first-class shed that Chris finished building last summer (intending to enjoy as his own personal workshop), of which there are more pictures there on the sidebar- right-hand column.

And another view of the back of the house, from the other end.

Here's a view towards the house from back at the fence line, across the field, on the end of our two acres.

the Breezeway

I took some more pictures today, hope you like them... But I ought to warn you first, that this, the breezeway/mudroom, is probably my favorite room of the whole house. Therefore I probably got a bit click happy as I was taking pictures of it this afternoon... and I'm posting lots of different angles, can't help myself, sorry. I'm not really sure why it's my favorite room? Maybe it's the lighting, the cedar-planked, vaulted ceiling, the lovely hue of green it's painted, or the way that it just seems to bring the beautiful outside surroundings right inside. It's a perfect transition into the home from without.

Here's the view as you walk through the entrance door (the first picture shown there at the top of the right hand column). That's the door to the kitchen there on your left. We've used top-quality KILZ primer, as well as 2-3 coats of KILZ satin enamel colors on ALL of the walls in this house, and KILZ semi-gloss for all of the trim.

And looking straight on you can see the double french exterior doors (with double-paned glass- we bought these brand new from Lowe's) to the back yard and porch stoop...

which open up so beautifully, though we usually only use the door on the right-hand side to access the back.

To your right is the door that leads into the utility room, pantry room, second bathroom and a two car garage area.

Now, having walked across the room, we're standing in the corner next to the double french doors, looking back towards the front entrance, with the door open...

and to your left, front door closed... You can see there's a row of coat/bag hooks there beside the window, on your left.

Looking to our right again, the kitchen door entrance...

Another shot from standing outside on the porch.

and another shot, just cause I think it's such a lovely, welcoming and soothing room (hey, I warned you, didn't I?)

And yet another (told ya I'd get you some pics!)

And a closer look at the nook beside the front entrance...

Love this room! Also, I'm hoping that the lighting will do the wall color justice in at least one of these pics!

Here you can see our shoe shelf (handy contraption Chris built there- but no, it's not permanently affixed to the wall!)

And one last view of this room... I was trying to get a lot of the gorgeous ceiling in this shot. You'll just have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
