the Dining Room

Welcome to our dining room, which measures 12' x12' and as you can see is plenty big enough for a much larger table (which is on my wishlist). I love working and eating/relaxing with the family in this room because it's so airy and sunny feeling. We have really enjoyed watching and learning about the habits of various wildlife with our kids through this window over the years; so many birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. Our plan was to eventually have a hutch or buffet- or both- in here (along with the longer table I'm still dreaming of).

Notice the quaint built in nook/shelves that I absolutely love!

And standing in the corner by the shelves, looking towards the living room and the hallway to your right, which leads to three huge hallway closets, a bathroom and three large bedrooms. See that door on the hallway entrance? That has been such a wonderful feature!

We have made this house over, literally from the floor to the ceiling.
