Thank you so much for visiting our Home For Sale blog. I'm adding pictures as I take them, so be sure and check back to see more! You can read more about our house by clicking here. Also, just click on any of the pictures here to see them larger.
I took some more pictures today, hope you like them... But I ought to warn you first, that this, the breezeway/mudroom, is probably my favorite room of the whole house. Therefore I probably got a bit click happy as I was taking pictures of it this afternoon... and I'm posting lots of different angles, can't help myself, sorry. I'm not really sure why it's my favorite room? Maybe it's the lighting, the cedar-planked, vaulted ceiling, the lovely hue of green it's painted, or the way that it just seems to bring the beautiful outside surroundings right inside. It's a perfect transition into the home from without.
Here's the view as you walk through the entrance door (the first picture shown there at the top of the right hand column). That's the door to the kitchen there on your left. We've used top-quality KILZ primer, as well as 2-3 coats of KILZ satin enamel colors on ALL of the walls in this house, and KILZ semi-gloss for all of the trim.
And looking straight on you can see the double french exterior doors (with double-paned glass- we bought these brand new from Lowe's) to the back yard and porch stoop...
which open up so beautifully, though we usually only use the door on the right-hand side to access the back.
To your right is the door that leads into the utility room, pantry room, second bathroom and a two car garage area.
Now, having walked across the room, we're standing in the corner next to the double french doors, looking back towards the front entrance, with the door open...
and to your left, front door closed... You can see there's a row of coat/bag hooks there beside the window, on your left.
Looking to our right again, the kitchen door entrance...
Another shot from standing outside on the porch.
and another shot, just cause I think it's such a lovely, welcoming and soothing room (hey, I warned you, didn't I?)
And yet another (told ya I'd get you some pics!)
And a closer look at the nook beside the front entrance...
Love this room! Also, I'm hoping that the lighting will do the wall color justice in at least one of these pics!
Here you can see our shoe shelf (handy contraption Chris built there- but no, it's not permanently affixed to the wall!)
And one last view of this room... I was trying to get a lot of the gorgeous ceiling in this shot. You'll just have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
