Thank you so much for visiting our Home For Sale blog. I'm adding pictures as I take them, so be sure and check back to see more! You can read more about our house by clicking here. Also, just click on any of the pictures here to see them larger.
Front of the house and its huge front lawn.
Front entrance with gorgeous landscaping.
Front walkway and front door.
Mature hedges and a variety of bulbs and perennials surround the entire house, front and back, providing seasonal blooms and greenery all year long.
Here's a view of the half of the front lawn closest to the house.
Front view of the house from the front yard's fence line...
And then looking to your right, you can see the fence line that extends down to the end of our two acres. Notice however that the wooden fence only goes about halfway down the extent of our two acres, whereas the second acre extends further out, being bordered by the blackberry bushes growing up along the barbed wire fencing.
Here you can see the new shed, to the right of the garages.
And here's the nice dog pen that Chris built for our spoiled rotten German Shepherd, who's never slept a day outside in his four years and lives inside, but sometimes we put him out here when it's nice outside and we're gonna be gone all day, or we have company we don't want him slobbering and sitting all over. Anyways, it's a really heavy-duty, nice pen with rubber equestrian mats on the ground, for a sanitary covering that keeps him off the ground, so he cannot dig or get muddy. Nice shade too.
And stepping further back, you can see the new, first-class shed that Chris finished building last summer (intending to enjoy as his own personal workshop), of which there are more pictures there on the sidebar- right-hand column.
And another view of the back of the house, from the other end.
Here's a view towards the house from back at the fence line, across the field, on the end of our two acres.

the Breezeway
Thank you so much for visiting our Home For Sale blog. I'm adding pictures as I take them, so be sure and check back to see more! You can read more about our house by clicking here. Also, just click on any of the pictures here to see them larger.
I took some more pictures today, hope you like them... But I ought to warn you first, that this, the breezeway/mudroom, is probably my favorite room of the whole house. Therefore I probably got a bit click happy as I was taking pictures of it this afternoon... and I'm posting lots of different angles, can't help myself, sorry. I'm not really sure why it's my favorite room? Maybe it's the lighting, the cedar-planked, vaulted ceiling, the lovely hue of green it's painted, or the way that it just seems to bring the beautiful outside surroundings right inside. It's a perfect transition into the home from without.
Here's the view as you walk through the entrance door (the first picture shown there at the top of the right hand column). That's the door to the kitchen there on your left. We've used top-quality KILZ primer, as well as 2-3 coats of KILZ satin enamel colors on ALL of the walls in this house, and KILZ semi-gloss for all of the trim.
And looking straight on you can see the double french exterior doors (with double-paned glass- we bought these brand new from Lowe's) to the back yard and porch stoop...
which open up so beautifully, though we usually only use the door on the right-hand side to access the back.
To your right is the door that leads into the utility room, pantry room, second bathroom and a two car garage area.
Now, having walked across the room, we're standing in the corner next to the double french doors, looking back towards the front entrance, with the door open...
and to your left, front door closed... You can see there's a row of coat/bag hooks there beside the window, on your left.
Looking to our right again, the kitchen door entrance...
Another shot from standing outside on the porch.
and another shot, just cause I think it's such a lovely, welcoming and soothing room (hey, I warned you, didn't I?)
And yet another (told ya I'd get you some pics!)
And a closer look at the nook beside the front entrance...
Love this room! Also, I'm hoping that the lighting will do the wall color justice in at least one of these pics!
Here you can see our shoe shelf (handy contraption Chris built there- but no, it's not permanently affixed to the wall!)
And one last view of this room... I was trying to get a lot of the gorgeous ceiling in this shot. You'll just have to see it in person to really appreciate it.

the Dining Room
Thank you so much for visiting our Home For Sale blog. I'm adding pictures as I take them, so be sure and check back throughout this next week to see more! You can read more about our house by clicking here.
Welcome to our dining room, which measures 12' x12' and as you can see is plenty big enough for a much larger table (which is on my wishlist). I love working and eating/relaxing with the family in this room because it's so airy and sunny feeling. We have really enjoyed watching and learning about the habits of various wildlife with our kids through this window over the years; so many birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. Our plan was to eventually have a hutch or buffet- or both- in here (along with the longer table I'm still dreaming of).
Here's the view of the dining room as you're walking in from the kitchen.
And looking to your right...
Notice the quaint built in nook/shelves that I absolutely love!
Another view, from the corner by the hallway...
And looking back towards the kitchen, which you just came from...
And standing in the corner by the shelves, looking towards the living room and the hallway to your right, which leads to three huge hallway closets, a bathroom and three large bedrooms. See that door on the hallway entrance? That has been such a wonderful feature!
Here you have the view of the dining room, looking from in the living room, through one of the french doors.
We have made this house over, literally from the floor to the ceiling.

the Kitchen
Thank you so much for visiting our Home For Sale blog. I'm adding pictures as I take them, so be sure and check back throughout this next week to see more! You can read more about our house by clicking here. Now, without further adieu, welcome to the kitchen!
Here's the view looking from the kitchen towards the dining room (straight through and to the right) and those french doors lead into the living room.
Here's the view of the kitchen through the door from the breezeway/mudroom, which in turn leads out to the back door and a side entrance. I love this original door! Walking through the door, you then enter the sunny kitchen. Like all of the other rooms in this house, it has wonderful natural light. Its dimensions are 12' x 12'.
Here's a pic of the same door from the kitchen side:
Here's a pic of the same door from the kitchen side:
As you can see, we've done lots in here! Oak cabinets to the ceiling, tile back-splash, custom shelf above the stove...Lots of counter space to the right of this door, cabinets with adjustable shelving inside (much of which I've lined- you're welcome to see when you visit), spacious drawers...
More counter space and cabinets, including deep corner cabinets to best utilize the space, a large lazy-susan, more drawers, custom shelf above the new stove and a built in microwave/light/vent.
Here's the wall to the left of the door as you come in. I have a little book shelf nook there for my cookbooks, and we also keep our water distiller here. Chris ran a water-line for the distiller and ice maker for the freezer behind the cabinets and inside the wall, so it's nice and hidden.
One of my favorite features of this kitchen though is the huge window that looks out into the backyard...
